As the year progresses, November and December tickets begin at approximately £19.99. Similarly, easyJet has launched a sale featuring over 780,000 reduced-price seats, offering up to 20% savings on specific routes. Passengers can find fares from £18.99 on journeys from Gatwick to Alicante, Bristol to Malaga, and Luton to Barcelona, while some October trips to Palma are available from £15.99.
Joining this competitive landscape, Wizz Air is expanding its Spanish presence by opening new bases in Valencia and Madrid come November, introducing additional routes and adding to the rivalry with Ryanair. Spanish carriers are also engaging in this fare battle. Vueling is providing discounts up to 20% on 110,000 seats, with international fares starting at €16. Iberia offers domestic flights from €24 and selected European routes from €29, whereas Air Europa’s anniversary sale features fares beginning at €25.
These discounts primarily target increasing demand following the peak summer travel season. However, travelers should be aware that the lowest prices usually cover only a small under-seat bag, with extra charges for seat selection, cabin luggage, and checked baggage.
